Roman road which joined Herrera de Pisuerga (Pisoraca) and Castro Urdiales (Flaviobriga) at the start of the first century. It is a branch of the important Vía Aquitania, which went from Astorga to Bordeaux, and facilitated communication between the Valle del Ebro and the Mediterranean.
