- Jose Mari Guerricagoitia started dealing in Basque books in 1988, taking advantage of the existing infrastructure to distribute Hispanic books that he had already started. He works with books on Basque themes (in English, Basque, Spanish or French), Latin American books and books about the Third World, especially alternative and progressive subjects. Born in 1927, he is retiring from his job, the Hispanic field, to concentrate more on the Basque themes. He is the U.S. distributor of books from Txalaparta and three other publishing houses from the Basque Country.
