- Euskal Giroa was founded in the early nineties as a women’s choir in Chino. Its goal was to gather different generations of women that liked to sing in Basque. Their repertoire includes old and new Basque songs. Songs about women, or that have women as protagonist, get special attention from this group.
Many of their songs are sung a cappella others with accompaniment. They dance if the song requires them to. The choir normally dresses in traditional Basque dress. Even though they have mainly performed around Chino and Southern California, they have also sung in Arizona, Nevada and Idaho.

The name of the group means "Basque spirit" or "ambiance" and that is what the ensemble endeavors to impart to its audience.
