Martin Berasategui, Basque chef with three Michelin stars, has opened a restaurant in Shanghai

Martin Berasategui, recognized Basque chef with three Michelin stars, inaugurated officially yesterday, 28 of September, his restaurant in Shanghai (China).

The new Restaurant Martin will offer a menu made in the restaurant of Lasarte (Gipuzkoa), but adapted to local products; like vegetables, Chinese meats and fish. The menu also has different native specialties: oysters of Japan, ox, Australian lamb, Chinese piglet…

This restaurant is located in a French big house of 1921, known in all Shanghai by its beauty and singularity, and it’s located in the park of Xujiahui. After the remodelation, it has three plants, with bar, terrace and dining room.

More than 15 cookers will be working in the restaurant whit Maxime Fanton and Yago Márquez, (Restaurant of Lasarte).
