The stipend will be payable as a travel reimbursement, thus the visitor may not receive the funds until a few weeks after arriving in Reno.

Purpose

The goal of these monies is to facilitate travel for scholars with an interest in Basque studies to come to Reno in order to conduct research. Preference will be given to those whose research projects coincide with the materials available in the Basque Library here in Reno. There is also the possibility of taking intensive English language classes while in Reno.
