VIII Term of Office data
The Juntas Generales are currently made up of 51 junteros or apoderados (members or representatives), elected by direct universal suffrage in the Foral (Territorial) Elections that are held every four years on the same date as Municipal Elections.
From among the different political options, the biscayans elect their representatives for the four constituencies in Bizkaia, which will be organised into political groups in the House.
