The Cooperative Promotion Fund Promokoop Fundazioa was an initiative of the Basque Cooperative Movement to encourage Cooperative Promotion in Basque Country through the specification and development of projects of a strategic nature. Its areas of priority are:

• The development of sectoral opportunities and initiatives by putting new energy into the cooperativisation of new sectors in which Basque Cooperativism is not particularly prominent.
• The promotion of area development, implying that cooperativism can play a key role in the development of the local area in job creation and wealth, and be a factor in economic development that can help people to establish roots in their milieux.
• The support of the organisations that operate in the area of cooperative promotion.

The Konfekoop representatives are Patxi Ormazabal, Juan Mari Concha and Agustin Mendiola.
