The IX edition of the Euskal Herria Mugaz Gaindi seminar will analyze the return of Basque emigrants
The IX International Seminar Euskal Herria Mugaz Gaindi (Beyond the Borders of Euskal Herria) will take place in June at the University of Deusto in Bilbao. This year, the meeting of experts in Basque Diaspora and exile will focus on the return of Basque emigrants and its impact on society. What was left of the homes of returned emigrants and exiles? How were they received? What contributions, tangible or intangible, did they make to the country? What effect did they have on the household or local economies? International experts will try to answer these and more questions.
