FOT Basque Tree

Basque Tree We hope you were able to visit the Saint Alphonsus Festival of Trees over Thanksgiving week at Boise Centre on the Grove. One of the featured trees was a tree sponsored by the Boise Basque Community. Contributors included Euzkaldunak, Inc., Oinkari Basque Dancers, Basque Country Imports, Aiztan Artean, Leku Ona, The Basque Market, The Basque Museum & Cultural Center, Bar Gernika, Epi's and Ahizpak Design. These generous donors gave artifacts, food and gift certificates to add value to the tree, which was chosen to be one of the few live auction items. C.K. Haun purchased it for $3,000. Funds benefit hospital renovation at Saint Alphonsus. It beautifully represented our culture, tradition and community.
